To train medical imaging technicians who can use devices safely and effectively in the field of medical imaging, properly prepare patients for examinations, apply radiation safety and protection principles, carry out quality control and record processes, work in accordance with ethical principles and legislation, and have strong communication skills.
To be a preferred program that trains graduates who can follow scientific and technological developments and transfer them to professional practice; prioritize patient safety, quality, and ethical culture; take an active role in teamwork; and continuously improve themselves with a lifelong learning approach.
In line with the needs of health services, to train medical imaging technicians who ground the imaging process in knowledge of the human body, radiological anatomy, and basic physics; can use medical imaging devices safely and effectively; protect themselves, patients, and society by applying radiation safety and protection principles; contribute to calibration, quality control, and process management by making the device and environment ready for examination; prepare and inform the patient before the examination; can set parameters suitable for the patient under physician supervision; carry out electronic recording and data management processes of images; use information and communication technologies effectively; act in accordance with professional ethics, patient rights, and legal regulations; are inclined to teamwork, have strong communication skills, and sustain their professional development with a lifelong learning approach.
