    3. Students whose cumulative grade point average in the major diploma program is at least 70 out of 100 but who are not in the top 20% in terms of success ranking in the relevant year of the major diploma program may also apply to the double major program if they have a score not lower than the base score of the program in which the double major will be pursued in the relevant year.

Other Articles Determined by the Regulation Regarding the Double Major Program

  1. In order for the student to graduate from the double major program, the cumulative grade point average in the major program must be at least 70 out of 100. During the entire double major education period, the student's cumulative grade point average in the major program may drop to 65 out of 100 only once. The student whose cumulative grade point average in the major program falls below 70 out of 100 for a second time is dismissed from the second major diploma program.
  2. A student continuing a second major undergraduate program may receive a graduation diploma only if the student graduates from the first major diploma program in which they are enrolled.
  3. The courses taken by a student in the double major second diploma program in the major program and whose equivalencies are accepted are shown on the transcript.
  4. For students who have earned the right to graduate from the major diploma program but cannot complete the second major diploma program, the duration of education is the maximum period specified in paragraph (c) of Article 44 of Law No. 2547, starting from the academic year in which the student enrolled in the second major diploma program.
  5. A student who does not take courses from the double major program for two consecutive semesters is dismissed from the second major diploma program.
  6. How the courses taken by students who are dismissed from the double major program in the second major program will be evaluated is determined by our senate. The courses successfully completed by the student in the second major program but not accepted in the major program are included in the transcript and diploma supplement without being included in the cumulative grade point average.
