Establishment of Our Vocational School
Erciyes University Vocational School of Health Services began its educational activities in 1989. The vocational school was established to contribute to training the qualified intermediate workforce needed in the field of health.
1989
The vocational school was opened within Erciyes University under the name Vocational School of Health Services.
1995-1996
The school moved to the new building built by Huseyin Bayraktar, a philanthropist businessperson from Kayseri, and its name was changed to Halil Bayraktar Vocational School of Health Services.
2025
On August 28, 2025, the school moved to the Mustafa Cikrikcioglu Education Building and educational activities began to continue in this building.
Education and Graduation
The duration of education at our vocational school is two years, in other words four semesters. Students who successfully complete their education are awarded an associate degree diploma. Graduates of the First and Emergency Aid, Anesthesia, Oral and Dental Health, Radiotherapy, Medical Imaging Techniques, Audiometry, Electroneurophysiology, Operating Room Services, and Medical Laboratory Techniques programs receive the title of "Health Technician"; graduates of the Medical Documentation and Secretarial Program receive the title of "Professional Staff."
